I agree with you - signs are everywhere if we're paying attention. I wonder if the difference in sun would bother you? This is something that is difficult to endure in Minnesota in the wintertime and I think (?) the sun shows itself less in Oregon.

Regardless, I always think of Colorado, Washington, or Oregon when I think of states I could live in.
