Only later did it dawn on me that I’d arrived at the area way too early, but it did give me time to wander around and get a 360-degree view of the bat houses and also take a small tour of the student gardens planted nearby. Just thinking about all those students studying plant life and digging around in the rich Florida earth gave me a completely pleasant feeling.
