My love for bats is new, last year I found one on my front stairs that must have come out of hibernation early during a few 80 degree days in March but then the temps dipped low again and I think it was too exhausted to get back to where it needed to be. I googled it and found a bat rehab person in St. Paul. I learned so much from her! Especially about white nose syndrome (she Suspected the bat had overcome it I think) And now I’m learning so much more from you. Everyone I told my story to were freaked out by bats and even had stories about further damaging their chance of survival 😞 it’s so irrational. Thanks for spreading the word! Love this story.
