Tipping has gotten so confusing for me. I think the pandemic added to this. So many establishments add their own fees (health surcharge, service fee, etc.) which is difficult to navigate what goes to the server. Oyy. When I served in WI my wage was $2.33/hour but in MN it was minimum wage ($8.95/hour at the time). I think tipping culture has gotten way out of hand - so it’s helpful to have this piece to help us!
